The 47th Cincinnati Conference on Romance & Arabic Languages and Literatures (CCRALL) offers a limited number of travel grants and registration fee waivers to encourage student participation and foster interest in research and graduate studies.

Travel Grants

A limited number of travel grants are available to help offset conference-related travel expenses for M.A. students in Spanish and undergraduate students in French and Spanish. M.A. students in Spanish must present a paper at the conference to be eligible. Undergraduate students are not required to present.

Registration Fee Waivers

Registration fee waivers are available to M.A. students and undergraduate students in French and Spanish who are interested in participating in the conference and learning more about research opportunities and graduate studies.

Registration Fee Waivers

Interested students should contact Dr. Siham Bouamer at bouamesm@ucmail.uc.edu and provide the following information:

• Full name, university, and academic program
• Type of support requested (travel grant or registration fee waiver)
• A brief statement (100–150 words) describing their interest in the conference and, where applicable, their research interests or plans for graduate study
• For M.A. students in Spanish applying for a travel grant, the title of their conference presentation
• For travel grant applicants, an estimate of travel expenses and the amount of funding requested

Application deadline: February 1, 2027.

All awards and waivers are limited and subject to availability. Requests will be considered based on eligibility and available funding.
